Why are the links/shortcuts to my SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive resources not working?

The link/shortcut is attempting to connect to the old Tenant resource, which is no longer accessible. You’ll need to access the resource via its new path/location in the Shared Tenant and recreate your link/shortcut.

  • SharePoint:

SharePoint sites are the easiest to identify, as you can simply replace the first part of the old path with the new path:

  • Teams:

Teams sites are a bit more complicated. While they also have a simple path change from the old to the new, the Team names were also changed to reflect college affiliation and type.

Contact the Team Owner for additional assistance on identifying a Team name.

    • OneDrive resources must be shared again by the Owner.
